In Delhi, you will visit all its famous monuments and centers with great historical significance. Enjoy Cycle rickshaw ride and taste various delicious Indian food in the famous markets of Delhi.
Your next move will be at Jaipur and then Agra. In these popular cities of India, you will observe the majestic beauty of royal palaces and forts, with intricate architecture and design. Later, you will visit the Chandela dynasty temples, at Khajuraho. These temples are popular across the world for their remarkable erotic sculptures and carvings.
Itinerary :
Day 1
Arrive Delhi
On reaching Delhi Airport, our representative will meet you and accompany you to one of the finest hotels in Delhi. Check-in to the hotel and relax at the comfort of its room. Explore the nightlife of Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2
Delhi
The 2nd day will begin with a city tour of Delhi. The city tour includes visit to Qutub Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir, Humayun Tomb, Parliament House and President’s House. Revisit the Red Fort in the evening to witness an amazing light and sound show. Have a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3
Delhi - Jaipur
After your breakfast, take on a drive to Jaipur. On your arrival, you will be accompanied to one of the premier hotels. Relax for a while and then visit the City Palace, which is surrounded with beautiful gardens and courtyards that signifies the Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Later go to explore the Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Royal Observatory, Central Museum, and Birla Mandir. Spend the evening either relaxing at the hotel or have a leisurely walk. Stay comfortably at the hotel.
Day 4
Jaipur
Begin your day with an excursion to the Amber Fort. Have a joy ride at the back of an elephant. In the afternoon, continue with your city tour covering City Palace, the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Jaipur – Agra
After breakfast, take on a road journey for Agra. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri to explore Salim Chisti's Tomb, Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal. In the late afternoon, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daula's Tomb built by Empress Noorjehan that has interesting Mughal architecture. Another most popular architectural wonder is The Red Fort that attracts hundreds of visitors every day. Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6
Agra
Early in the morning, visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, which is one of the seventh wonders of the world. This majestic white marble monument is known for its intricate architecture and design that keeps its visitors enchanted. Later you will visit the Moti Masjid(Pearl Mosque). Return back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 7
Agra – Jhansi – Khajuraho
In the morning leave for Agra railway station, from where you will board a train for Jhansi. After reaching Jhansi, you will visit the Jhansi Fort and then visit the Government Museum, showcasing the dresses, weapons and statues used during the Chandela dynasty. The museum also has a picture gallery of the Gupta period. Your next destination will be Khajuraho. On reaching Khajuraho, check-in to one of the best hotels and stay overnight.
Day 8
Khajuraho
Post breakfast, take on a guided tour of Khajuraho. Begin your day with a visit to the group of Chandela dynasty temples. These temples are popular around the world for spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings. The Western Group of temples is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. This group of temples comprises of Kandariya Mahadeva temple, the Lakshmana temple, the Matangeshwar temple and the Varaha temple. Have a relaxing overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9
Khajuraho – Varanasi
Post breakfast in the morning, leave for airport and board a flight to Varanasi. On arriving Varanasi, check-in to one of the finest hotels. Later in the day, you will go for an excursion to Sarnath, popular as the buried Buddhist city. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10
Varanasi
In the morning during your visit to the bathing ghats cruise across the holy river Ganges on a boat. In the afternoon, you will visit the ancient Stupa, the Buddhist temple along with the Museum. Post lunch you will go for Varanasi city tour, which includes visit to Bharat Mata Temple, the Alamgir temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. In the evening you will explore the Banaras Hindu University, visit the Art Gallery and Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb’s Mosque. Enjoy a comfortable night stay at the hotel.
Day 11
Varanasi - Delhi
In the morning, you will be assisted to Varanasi airport, from where you will board a flight to Delhi. On arriving Delhi, check-in to your pre-arranged hotel. Relax for the day. Later in the evening, explore the nightlife of the Capital City- Delhi. Have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 12
Delhi (Departure)
In the morning leave for Delhi airport to board an international flight for your journey back home.
